Hey guys, i was wondering what are the sort of, factors, that you use when it comes to triple barrel bluffing. I know that playing a balanced range requires i bet 2/3rd value, and 1/3rd bluffs, so the few hands i'm bluffing with i should actually know, and use those, but it seems like that's just a more GTO approach, and not exploitative at all.

I have a hunch that triple barreling might be really profitable since it might be difficult for our opponent, usually, to call down. But i am also not sure, because when they call the double barrel, their range is probably strong, in general.

Should i just do it like crazy, so i get used to it, or should i just rely on our handy little program, to tell us whether or not we're actually generating enough fold equity to begin with?

For example, i found that when there's two flush draws, that's actually a decent portion of our opponent's range that he's actually folding on the river, somewhere like 1/3rd of the hands he'd get to the river by. So in this particular scenario, i'd imagine that triple barreling is almost always +EV, etc, etc.

Meh, more of a question of doubt. I suppose the only way to find out is to do it. But i suspect that hand ranges already take care of themselves really well, in that if you fold normally, you won't be overfolding TOO much.

So maybe 3 barreling isn't something you can just liberally do.

How do you expect anyone to answer this question?

It is clearly hand and board dependent.
You don't just decide on flop that you are going to 3ple something, that's just nonsense (ott you do).
You figure out the bluffs when you know how many value hands you have that 3ple specific spot.
You chose the best bluffs (block value hands, don't block draws. Blocking BDFD clearly better than blocking FD and so on.
