Just played this hand while killing time in car. 5NL zoom on Stars. 100bb eff

Is AQ a call here to this shove? Assuming I can have QQ, 88, TT, and maybe 77 and 98s occasionally, do I still call AQ here? Feel like this is the worse hand I can call, and being villain is a fish who took a stupid line that is rarely bluffing, he prob has me beat 99 percent....And I should just fold at these stakes. But in terms of defending to the shove from a “not to be exploited GTO” perspective, is this a call?

I would've betted turn like 3/4pot to protect cuz its not good idea to give fish villain free card if he's drawing. Giving free cards to fish leads to hard decisions like this.

If he's a fish its pretty sure he has set or some JTs. AQ/KQ fish usually bet on turn also so you're often behind here without reads.

It's hard to answer the question you asked because it's going to depend on your exact range and how you play your range on each street.

We have a tight range to begin with as an UTG open calling a CO 3bet and he is risking 80BB to win 35BB so we can fold a lot. Without doing the math I suspect that this hand would be a fold.

1. Move up to at least $16nl
2. Fold pre
3. The only reason to not fold is because you don't want to lose redline.
4. It's much better to make bad bluffs than bad calls

Why stop at 16 then, 500z here I come
