This is why you should just call flop. We can't stack off against a range that could have so many straights, two pairs, sets, big draws etc. QJ here isn't as quite as strong as it looks.

Instead of just asking the forum if it's a +EV call, you should spend some time with Equilab/Flopzilla and build a range you think villain jams with, calculate your equity, and then compare it to the pot odds.

Don't check-raise the flop though. You have a fine hand to just call with. When you check-raise in spots like that, you should already know what you're going to do if villain re-reraises or jams. Don't make plays that will cause you to have a "long think". Either decide to check-raise because you want to play for stacks, or because you're making some kind of bluff that you'll insta-fold if villain re-raises.

Also fold pre. I pretty much never call from the SB unless I have overcalling with a PP against weak players where there has been a raise and a call and even then I don't always do it.

As played I'm assuming you raised because you wanted to protect against flush draws/Kx and didn't want to get drawn out on. I would call and possibly even check fold turns at the micros as your hand here really isn't that strong against players that generally underbluff.

The problem with raising a hand like this is that if you get jammed on you're going to be behind a ton of hands and have to fold a decent chunk of equity, this is perfect to just call with, you're almost turning your hand into a bluff by raising.
