Poker Stars .25/.50 HU

I was playing .25/.50 NL (ZOOM) heads up on Pokerstars and realized that this game is a gold farm. Playing very tight not loose and aggressive is extremely profitable at this level.

you are likely experiencing some positive variance, but yes, nl50z hu can be very soft, you can often get pools with only 15-25% reg entries

re "not playing loose", most players new to hu vastly overestimate how aggressive you should be playing headsup, so what you described as "very tight" was likely just a correct play
