OOP facing 4 bet with KJs OOP facing 4 bet with KJs

Hello,

So im playing a relatively straight forward villain who managed to 4 bet once at the beginning with TT's, and that's about it, he's never showed up with a bluff and/or i have never caught him really on a bluff, or at least a big one.

I have KJs OOP, its 1c/2c, he makes it 5, i make it 14, he makes it 35. I make a weak call, giving credit to the fact that my hand is suited, and that its 35 and not, say, 42, HOPING that he's doing this with 56s (lol).

Flop comes TT4 rainbow. Pot is now 70.
I check, he bets 1/3rd the pot, I call with two "overs" and a backdoor FD.

Turn is a J.
I check-call for 1/3rd the pot.

River is a 6.
I check, he shoves for about 2/3rd the pot, and I fold.

So my question is, at what point should I have folded?
Is KJs too weak to call a smallish 4 bet with OOP?
Is this always a c/f on the flop since his range is too strong in 4 bet pots?
Can I fold the turn even when i hit my J.

Of course river is the easiest spot imo.

I think we should try to plan out our hand the best we can from the beginning. I don't see a reason to continue on the flop, if when we do hit (on the turn), we are just going to end up folding to a blank river card.

But I think the fold on the river is good.

Preflop is fine but folding isn't terrible.

Flop is a much better spot to fold than the river.
If you are going to c/c this flop you must call the turn.
River, you need to be good like 25% of the time to call. I don't love it and you are usually beat for sure but having a strat where you float the flop, hit a top 15% runout for your hand and then fold cannot be optimal. Either flop is a fold or river is a call. I prefer folding either preflop or on the flop to the river, although river fold might be good as well. Every decision seems super close though

this kind of player you dont play big pots with unless you got him for sure. especially if he is doing the betting. break him by winning a little at a time.
bad call pre flop there.

To be honest. Given the pre flop action, if the player plays relatively straightforward.. I think I would find the fold preflop, after you raise and he raises. He can have alot of strong pairs here like JJ+.

just call the opening bet of 5.

dont call on 3rd unless you plan on bluffing on 4th.

dont call on 4th street unless you plan on calling on the river to catch a bluff. or check raise all in on 4th. neither might be the right play according to what you know about him.

Maybe im the dumb one here but this is hu. By folding herevu are making yourself pretty exploitable. What is his range AA QQ AT u block J and K combos although they are def still in his range. Given u r folding tova 2/3 pot bet u r doing urself a disservice. U have to call river if u call turn.
