Little background, I'm quite new to poker. Got interested last year after watching Rounders with my friend. We would occasionally play here and there (heads up). A while after I read an article from a proprietary trader named Peter To about his online poker journey when he was a kid, that got me real interested because he was talking about the quant side of poker. Fast forward to now I've taken in a decent amount of strategy content (Doug Polk's Youtube, Phil Galfond on YT, some deucescracked stuff, just general youtube/online stuff I can find that suits what I'm searching for.) I only have like 2k hands total on ACR (was on betonline before, probably had ~2k hands there too), like 800 being at heads up, I realized how little I play and how small of a sample size I have. So I played two tables of $2 HUNL SNGs today for an hour. Played seven matches, went 3-4.

Anyways, I ran into a flush draw spot that I'm unsure about after the fact.

Hero received card: [Qd]
Hero received card: [7d]
Villain raises (45)
Hero raises (184)
Villain calls (154)
*** FLOP ***: [Jh 2d 10d]
Hero checks
Villain bets (321)
Hero calls (321)
*** TURN ***: [Jh 2d 10d] [Ks]
Hero checks
Villain allin (515)
Hero calls (515)
*** RIVER ***: [Jh 2d 10d Ks] [2s]
------ Summary ------
Pot: 2100
Board: [Jh 2d 10d Ks 2s]
*Villain shows: Two pairs. Js and 10s [10s Jd]. Bets: 1050. Collects: 2100. Wins: 1050.
Hero shows: One pair of 2s [Qd 7d]. Bets: 1050. Collects: 0. Loses: 1050.

Looking at V's HUD, he called 40% of my 3bets (however the sample size is only 5...). So I gave him a range of the top 40% of hand in Equilab. Assuming a 40% range, I had the odds to call both bets. But due to the small sample size of 3b calls, I doubt his 3bet flat range is actually 40%, I just don't know how else to quantify his range.

Also, it's probably clear that I shouldn't have 3bet pre with Q7s here, but in the moment I guess I justify it by telling myself that I'm balancing my range with semi-bluffs, but I'm not at all on that level of sophistication to actually pull that off in a profitable manner. I also need to study heads up ranges more.

I know this is probably just a sigh call but in general I don't like the way I play flush draws so I'm looking for some more insight on how I can play them better in the future, and maybe something that you guys picked up on how I could have played this hand better.

Thank you so much guys!
