I wouldn’t be squeezing A4s against this type of player.

Just xc flop as played and reevaluate turn, I’m not sure why you shoved.

    I think as value vs KJs+, QJs, JTs, T9s, 54s, 99-JJ, and maybe all 77-55 with 1 spade (32 combo's +/-)
    and losing vs 33 & 88 en AQ, AT-AQs (30 combo's)

and we have some fold equity?

17/11 is pretty tight in my eyes so he’s not going to have as many hands that he can bluff post. He’s also going to be bluffing a lot less multiway on an ace high board, I don’t think we have as much fold equity as you think we do.

Besides, we’ve got plenty of semi bluffs, maybe even 88, AA. If you’ve played this combo like this preflop, you’ll probably also have A8s and A3s.

I’d say you need to be tighter and more merged against this villain preflop though, suited wheels aren’t going to make you money against him.

Think you need to have a look at 3bet bluffing in more detail and which opponents to do this against. Whilst it isn't a horrendous mistake, when called you are in all sorts of bother on ace high boards and need great post flop skills to play these marginal hands OOP in bloated pots.

    XC flop and decide turn.

What do you guys think about suited aces in general? I tend to find that they don’t do too well on my database at the micros.

depents on how you play them i guess. If they fit well in your range and you have a decent strategy involving the suited Ax hands you should be able to profit from them in my opinion. But i think the way i played this hand could be -ev so i'm going to chance this .
