Hey I was just wondering if people in general use HU HUDS much and if you do what are the most important stats that you look at? I've found that in general a HUD has been pretty useless in HU so far (compared to 6 max) but was wondering what other peoples opinions are. Also what kind of bankroll management are people implementing? - clearly you must differentiate in what your goals (professional/amateur etc) are but I want to do an aggressive bankroll strategy and do you think multi tabling 4 tables of 100NL HU with 70 buy ins is too nitty? finally what are the best sites to play HU on (cash) in your opinion? Thanks, GLP.

i dont use a hud, but im not playing more than two tables--i used one for FR and feel in hu i would just find it distracting and i feel i have no problem remembering important themes and hands in the match anyway. 70 buyins seems like plenty, and it shouldnt make any difference how many tables you play. i doubt you'll go on any 70BI downswings--think of what your worst possible downswing could be.

i made a thread a couple weeks ago and people seemed to generally agree that FTP was softer than stars, and i agree. it depends on your style tho i guess.

For Me:

-No HUD
-I move up when i hit 100BI of my current level (i.e. at $20k, i move up to 2/4)
-An aggressive BRM would be 40BI bankroll imo
-70 buy ins is fine, but for an aggressive management strategy perhaps a little nitty
-I play party poker, and although i've only played party poker, i find there's plenty of fish, and when i read others posts about how dead HU cash is, i realize how great party is. That said I do find myself waiting around pretty regularly.

its a level, 50ptbb=100HEMbb

on a serious note, 15bb/100 is a solid 50NL rate.

i think you should aim for 20-25bb/100 at 50nl

I find the HUD by far the most useful for HU. Why do you need a hud for 6-max, everyone has the same hand range!

bc gamefllow is sooo much more imp at hu than 6m imo

I use a HUD usually and I think you can really gain some things from it. Like sometimes I feel like a guy is checkraising flops really excessively and getting out of line and when I actually look, the number is relatively normal and I just have some kind of memory bias. Or like sometimes my perception of how often someone donks flops is way way off the actual number. These sort of less standard things come up more in HU than 6max I feel.

So for HU I use the HUD more for kind of slightly more esoteric stuff like that, on a case by case basis, whereas at 6max I am mostly using a HUD just cause I have more tables going and I need the basic info more like PFR and VPIP and crap.
