I find being as vague/secretive as possible with $ amounts is the best way to deal with it. 99% of people just don't get it, even my dear mother after knowing that I have lived off of poker for 2 years asked me a couple of months ago if i was still "up"

I usually only tell them when they see my nice ****. They ask hey how can someone young like you afford this? and then its no point in making up something stupid. But if you meet people for the first time dont bring it up. They either find it insanely cool and start asking you stupid annoying questions that you have heard 20 times before already, or they look at you like you have a problem but just dont know it yet. Or theyr neutral, which is best case, but happens only like a quarter of the time it seems.

I have played 2-3 hu matches in the last few months where I swear down that the game must have been rigged. They ALWAYS showed me the goods. Looking back it still seems pretty brutal, but I bet I adjusted poorly which will have exaggerated things. I also believe when you run very bad in a match, you are at a fundamental disadvantage (all tilting aside) due to what hands are shown down and then being limited on how you can adjust.

14 buy ins down to 3 overpairs on overpairs, 4 sets, 27 straights, 16 flushes, 5 full houses, 2 quads and to 9 high str flush gutshot draw with 8 high straight/flush draw or something like that i dont even wanna replay this again fkng puking from it. and countless 3/5outers in all kind of spots, ahahahahha im stoned.

Dude, I keep getting badbeated dozens time a day, but i dont whine, as its standard in HU, but what happened against 1 drooler on 1 table is just way beyond real possibility. Even the truck driver in USA who was winning millions straight up for a week in all casinos in Las Vegas had more chances mathematically then this guy I've lost 14 buy-ins to.
I'm glad that this muppet showed me every single time nuts even when i was making crying folds, because i would've been down like 30 buy-ins, and if i'd tilt i would've been down 50 buyins easy.
But i guess i cant really whine, because i am up $1.2k overall, despite losing $2.8k to him. But just keep this thing in mind guys when you will experience something similar to this, despite that the chance that you will go trough this is 0.001%.
