Yep 2 UK players that just appeared out of nowhere, playing really solid @ 1k and 500z, and have same stats

Ok, now I've played 10k hands in zoom NL50 this year and paid $785 in rake. WP, Stars!

NMHU in 2017. Regs are beasts! PD Raw Power is oldschool and outdated. Confirmed.

Rensen (germany) and fishmax(ukraine) move up in the "BEST NL50 REGS" ranking and forcing KoreanMonkey, Pparella, and FradiMob to move down.

P.S. "rake donated to Stars Baasov" update - $871. RB received - few 10 buckos. Thank you so much. It is so generous!

You miss the point. Those who are playing poker for living, obviously grind higher limits doh. But even that is an exception - if you don't understand obvious things than you might read this thread: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/58...200-a-1638681/

Though, even if I cut my winrate SEVEN TIMES from 14bb/100 to 2 bb/100, I'd still make ~$30,000 per year @2tabling zoom 25 days/8 hours a day. It is $2,500/month(+bonuses). In example, an average salary in average city in Russia is $250/month. TEN TIMES LESS.
Now I hope you understand, why there are alot of ukranian, hungarian, belo/russian players still grind out HUZOOM [FOR LIVING] at even 0.5bb/100.

PS. and this is lowest rough estimates, because my real winrate at small stakes NL50+NL100 was around 19bb/100
You can add Argentina, Mexico, Equador and bunch of other countries of that caliber to the list.

Also, FYI, workers in McDonalds in such countries do not make even as much as NL50 grinders

I'm not sure if you are from wealthy country or not, but it would be sad to be from 2nd/3rd world country and play poker professionally for living anything less than midstakes. That would be a shame.
Which country are you from?

I'm from Ireland, I quit poker following the rake/zoom change, but i'm still interested in the game and how things are, you are correct my Mcdonalds comment was off, was merely forum talk, but it was directed at 50nl regulars, lets say $9/hour.

Cool to see that graphs still getting millage.

^^FYI, McDonald's salary in Russia is 120/hr=$2/hr.

You did quit, but don't you play it from time to time??? I've never liked HU zoom format, but given no choice I play it time to time for fun, because I miss it a lot. It is very addictive for me personally. I h8 live poker and rarely get HU action and I don't like more than 3max.
What's your SN BTW? If it's non-public, PM me.
Cheers!

Millage, what's that? Need to expand my english vocabulary.

P.S. Just to get a more clear picture: vast majority of people in Russia that have a 15-20years+ experience in the fields they've made careers in and have a lot of great diplomas and solid trainings still do not make more than 150,000RUB/month($2,500/month). Mainly, it's not their fault. So, now back to those NL50 grinders - I don't blame them at all for still doing it. Almost guaranteed, they won't find a better paying job and won't proceed to making more than that in the next 5 years in most scenarios.

Nah, I think ive played <5k hands since the change, I actually really liked the zoom format, was reassuring knowing I had almost a guaranteed number of hands each month. It was the rake increase, 30% less value on FPPs, and removal of reg tables with 3 days notice that forced me to have a good look at the way things were going and whether I wanted to be apart of it. My SN was rossboom.

Mileage*

'Lived' (1 month) in St Petersburg in November, really nice spot, much better than portrayed.

I dont doubt that the money that can be earned from online poker can go further in some countries, I was just curious as what is possible now for the guys still around, in terms of the almighty.

Does anyone else have heads up tables randomly close on them so they lose a blind? Jokerstars tech support is useless and i think they have grimmed me for 100blinds so far. For some reason it only happens on heads up tables for me.

Anyone know maxim737? The guy just sat me at 500z, snapmaking all decions, and overall just playing a very bot-like style. I cant remember to have seen this guy before either. A certain tracking site appearantly has the account being breakeven over 700k hands, mostly all of it at 50nl 6max NL. I won small against him but decided to quit cause the whole thing felt weird.

I played him at PLOHU the other day and indeed it felt very very very strange. He literally snapped every decision. The speed was so fast that it could not be physically done with human fingers. And it was not just for one hand, it was for every action on every street. And I hadn't seen that account before.

He played very bad tho, but it might be the case that the NL algoryhtm does not work for PLO because relative hand strength is different
