No one else called out my claim besides you though so with all the PLO badasses reading this thread I'm gonna assume its not that far off the mark.

And by assume I mean know.
the 40k hand remark was directed to Danmerrrrr, hopefully your assumptions are better than your reading comprehension

idk why top players are getting empty tables at midstakes in this poker environment. if you're going to keep playing on PS/KOTH where the skill threshold to hold a table keeps going up then you should really take adv of the relatively cheap lesson to get to play a top player at 3/6 or something.

also the danmer thing. yeah everyone ive played in the empire has distinct differences in their games like kaby was saying. and danmer is still scared to play me at 25/50 despite the fact that 99% of my hands played these days are hypers. so lets not call him a world beater yet. idk why its so surprising people are improving so much, theres so much software help out there and the environment is super tough so seems pretty natural.

Lol what? Kaby addressed this ridiculous statement perfectly, but a lot of high stakes guys get there and stay there BECAUSE they are stand-up guys. Character goes a long way when it comes to long-term results.

I can't even name one top reg who I view as "scummy" in the HU community.

Actually, closest I can think of is whomever Tahi0009 was who posed as a fish and proceeded to play me with what I am very sure were shared stats.

sorry to derail, but there seems to be strangest thing happening with non-zoom tables. While there's a decent pool at nl50 and nl100, there isn't a single non-zoom hu table running from nl50 to nl600 (!). It's very weird, as koth was supposed to increase reg v reg action, not decrease it. It could be just a strange coincidence, but it's not the first time I see so many tables empty, and before koth there were always at least 10 tables of nl50 (usually more) at all times.

Could it be that recs actually don't find the new envoirment friendly? Mb they liked the anonymity that came with like 80 guys sitting nl50 at all times? Btw at the same time zoom pools are very healthy and very soft.

I'd think that allowing the crushers to hold on to their tables at midstakes is simply the respectful thing to do

you were chasing me around 10/20cap repeatedly when I didn't want to play you and while everyone was giving up their table to me including which a ton of pure weak bumhunters. just came across as you being unecessarily annoying. wasnt simply you trying to get a lesson and that was the biggest stake you played.

first of all, most fish don't give a **** about friendly environment Bull**** and they don't care about what the lobby looks like.

Next, maybe u just looked at the nut low time? now theres over 10 games running at NL50, most are fish vs reg though. This is what its like most of the time i look at the lobby also.

A truth not many on 2+2 acknowledge for some reason, guess everyone likes **** to talk/complain about.

-i wanted to bumhunt 10/20 cap. ibav wanted to play me there. i occasionally played but mostly cba. i offered him 25/50, he said no. i could basically take anyones table sitting at any cap (and he knew/saw this) and he could take many others too. he often chased me around 10/20cap making me frequently get a new table.

-i.e if theres 20 players sitting 5/10, WCG is sitting and #1 player, and the #8 player wants a game vs him there, but WCG cba and doesn't want to play him that low. instead of the #8 taking any of the others #9-20 tables he chases WCG around from table to table and sits him up to multiple times a day.

-i told ibav he should just give me some respect and stop doing this. so he posted up above trolling me since i just posted people should take advantage of playing top players low. but in actuality i doubt this was his mindset and was just super annoying about it anyways.

If wcg doesnt want to play player#8, because he thinks his lessons are too cheap, he shouldnt sit 5/10. i think every player should be allowed to sit 3,4 stakes only on stars. Nl10k guys sitting nl600 and then not playing weaker regs is bad for pokerenvironment imo.

#8 wanting a game from #1 while theres 20 seats shouldn't alone force #1 to not sit a stake...

if #2-20 also want a game then that's one thing.

#8 shouldnt be allowed to chase #1 from table to table while #2-7, 9-20 give it up.

So if #8 wants a game from #5 or #6 its practically the same thing, isnt it? #5 can argue that playing #8 is giving up to much infomations. So he can only play #6. thats really bad for poker. Do i have a big mindmistake on this topic, i dunno...?

i dont really understand what you're saying. theres plenty of tables and plenty of people not willing to post blinds vs #1/5/6/8. Any of them chasing the others around while they get new tables from 9-20 repeatedly and repeatedly is just being annoying and douchey

Ok got this, but if a reg dont wanna play someone, becaue he is too good, thats also strange. Thx for your response.

This is way out of line by muumipoiss for the record. Super scummy.

Accusing me of multi-accounting and then spreading the malicious heresay because its, and i quote, 'what i think'. This has negatively effected my poker action.

Oh and to add insult to injury, although he thinks im some multiaccounter sent down from the poker gods he then persists to 4 table me in zoom with 1 rec player. Whats it to be muumi?

idk why I'm getting involved in this thread but I can't help but share some stories here - a few pieces of history with dan and myself:

Part 1:
Last year danmerrr had me on skype and was chatting me up occasionally, we were on good terms for two guys who have played against each other on stars. One evening he took a look at the ipoker lobby while we were talking and tried to uncover my screen name there. I try to keep these names relatively out of the public (although it wouldn't take a genius to figure them out) as I'm sure most people do. He guessed the wrong name with a lot of confidence, and I played along for a while. I guess his correctly, never having played, simply because it was not a secretive screen name choice at all.

He ended up joining me maybe a week later and we 4 tabled for a bit, with me having the knowledge of who he was. You can take that as you will, I'd say I did nothing wrong here as he was making an effort to uncover who I was on a network where I don't like to share who I am. Meanwhile, if he had joined me without that conversation ever happening I still would have known who he was within a few hands because his name was obvious and I knew his play style.

Part 2:
This obviously pissed him off, he removed me from Skype and went on to try and retaliate in other ways as well. Not long after there was a big fish playing 50/100 on Stars (he was playing 0% of regs at this limit at the time, our history was at 2/5 and 5/10 zoom mostly) and the fish was actively moving from table to table. I had a spot in the lobby and he joined me without posting once or saying anything, just let stars boot him after blocking me for 5 minutes. Several other regs witnessed that and I informed stars of his action as well.

Over the next few months as Dan actually made his way up to those limits he would join me late at night, when I generally quit my sessions or am afk. I did find this strange for someone who presumably lives in the UK, it would mean he's getting online at maybe 2am every day but I won't judge a poker player's sleep schedule. If I happened to be around I posted and he would posture or ask for 6 tables or become busy shortly after. Call it lobby politics if you will - he was progressively willing to risk playing more hands at high stakes in an effort to get 5k and 10k tables on stars.

Dan also met a friend of mine in Vegas over the summer and bragged relentlessly at the table about his online results. When he found out we were friends, he made a point to talk **** to me on a stars table about this friend.

More recently Dan has made a lot more money at 5k from what I understand but he is still avoiding certain regs as Nick pointed out. We've played a few short sessions in the past 3 months but it's obvious to me that he's not trying to beat the world quite yet. I'm not even near the top of the 5k+ food chain but it seems apparent that there are other games he'd rather play (humorously enough, guys like muumi, who happens to think I'm terrible and has the results vs me to back that up).

Anyway, I write this stuff here because a bunch of Dan's actions make no sense in the context of a secret multi account. He deliberately talks ****, makes enemies, sifts his way through the lobby to find tables rather than games and tries to be on the good side of who he thinks are strong regs and the bad side of weak ones. He has an 8x pot cbet sizing on his table ninja to fake misclicks ffs. He's a total ******* and if someone smart was behind his account they'd never let him table block me in a fit of rage. I suppose you could argue his backer/ghoster/whatever didn't do that personally but in my experience playing vs him it was almost certainly the same guy at 2/5 zoom, 5/10 zoom, ipoker 5/10, stars 25/50, etc. Seems like quite a long con for the mystery guy behind him...

Well there were two separate things going on. One was me wanting to play you, which your earlier post supports. Obviously the guy who plays higher usually doesn't want to battle at his low stake.

The other one was me sitting you frequently. Yeah it was pretty annoying but was mostly a result of you being a huge ass in chat until you realized I was actually willing to play you and you didn't want to play me. There was also the weird thing about Kranshan chasing me around to "punish" me for daring to sit you. I don't really think you told him to do it, but it was a pretty weird protective instinct

Anyways, thats way in the past, just trolling around here a bit, obviously I agree with your post!
