Has anyone played it over a reasonable sample? If so which stakes do you reckon it can beat?
I enjoy using it as a study tool but not sure if my time is better spent reading books/ watching training vids.

Pokersnowie is not good vs highstakes regs. Mainly because of sizing abstraction.

I would assume that HU snowie is worse than 6m but it depends what you mean/how you measure it.

I have played HU for 10+ years and played around a bit with snowie on the side while I was doing other stuff on the pc. I can safely say that without proper focus and a solid gameplan, so lets say 90% of the population that plays HU, snowie will kick you ass.

It is very useful. But you need to note and understand preflop what Snowie focuses on. How it constructs it's ranges with regard to button open, calling from SB, 3B from SB, and when to flat call from button if SB 3-bets.

Snowie postflop will show you to play more conservatively, taking shots at pots mostly when equity is there, also using small value bets like 1/4 pot bets to suck thin value from hands you have crushed (*betting 1/4 pot on turn with middle pair and villain has two overs instead of checking to try to make showdown), also using made hands against villains aggression in HU is a snowie staple. Say you make a monster by the river, Snowie uses large bets to polarize with mostly value and some rare bluffs to crush villain. Or a one card straight is a huge hand, but we check to let villain bluff so we have an easy call. Snowie is very shrewd and likes to use value hands to disguise with large value bets, or avoid being raised when having a vulnerable value hand by using a XC technique.

As I am currently in 90% of the population that's a good thing to hear, but curious how much Pokersnowie can be used to improve beginner's play alongside more established methods of doing so.

Any thoughts are welcome, thank you.

man, HU forum is dead it seems.

snowie's style will most likely crush majority of HU population, outside of the top 5-10% of players

I'm a very low stakes HU player currently and honestly thought snowie was useless. It seems to give some good advice in 6max, but I played it for a few weeks and it did quite poorly. It calls in bad spots and folds too easily in others. It's HU advice was suspect to say the least, telling me for example to call with bottom pair on a 3 flush paired board on a 1/2 pot river bet despite aggression through the whole hand. Despite giving good 6max advice it didnt beat me in 6max either.

Feel free to disagree but I refunded it since I think playing any human player would be of more use.

I've never played HU in my life... here's 1000 hands, my 1st time against snowie. I was looking for a good bot to play against and saw this thread. It's a free trial version of Snowie that I downloaded today.
Under AIEV, should have more chips (lost AQ vs JJ PF, the only PF all in I had)

obviously the sample's too small. I think the bot is bad at valuebetting, he could've gotten way more from me, he had a bunch of two pairs and always bet under half pot on river when I would've called a pot sized bet. And I think it bluffs too much.

Played without snowie advice. Win rate 32bb/100. For this sample size insignificant number, but I'm not gonna waste time on 100k hands .

Omg this looks really cool. I think it'd be interesting just to see how the bot constructs ranges and plays. I mean, just beating it would be educational, no?

Yes, beating it would be educational, because it plays better than spin and go crowd. I have no other HU experience other than Spin and Go where two players remain.

I have around 9evbb/100 in Spin and Go's over 4k games. I don't recommend playing it though because if you don't hit the lucky prize, it's a break even game if you're good and if you are not so good, you'll lose money. And the chance to hit and win the large prize is like 1 in 3 million.

What sucks, is that trial ended the next day even though the website says you could try for 10 days... Now it says this:

One day trial sucks, so I am uninstalling it
