How good is Equilab? How good is Equilab?

I'm a bit confused as per the learning process that one goes through using Equilab or any sort of equity calculators. Like how effective it is and all.

How does one ensure that they've learned as much as they possibly could from each of the hands they review? It seems like one big "i'm going to approximate ranges and use according to my own tendencies what i think would be a call, fold, or raise here.

For example, if i get c/r on a flop and i have TPGK, i know i'm overfolding if i'm always folding and he's not just some sort of super nitty player. So then my "auto-adjustment" would be to start calling off some mid-pair type hands, and folding the others to his c/r. This line of thinking seems pretty intuitive, and doesn't rely on exact calculation. I wouldn't feel like, in this exact spot, i needed to do any equity calculations at all.

Meh.
