If your edge is that strong, calling up to 75% vs 3-3.5x 3 bets could easily be correct especially if you are opening a tighter <75% range.

Back at ya. Wat?? This is a HUNL forum. Yeah, opening less than 75% of your hands is suboptimally tight. Vs a lot of villains it becomes a cavernous leak.

i assumed uve played kai akkman and was refering to his opening range being <75, i doubt any 100zoom reg opens <75%

Please excuse my ignorance.....It' Saturday night and on Stars there are 14 players IN TOTAL playing nl hu Zoom on Stars. One table ($0.25/0$0.50) has five players the other nine tables, only one. Is hu Zoom raked so hard it's totally unbeatable or what is the reason(s) for lack of traffic. Again please excuse my ignorance...if I knew...I wouldn't be asking. Not trolling.

The zoom pools do have extremely high rake now. I estimated in the current rake structure at $.25/50 I would be paying 15bb/100 average in rake (I never actually played under current rake regime).

At those rake levels, table selection eclipses all other considerations. That said, when I was logging in from the USA and railing the action for a minute here and there last spring and early summer, there were still some very beatable pools, better even than the same time a year prior.

Stars has "professionalized" the management of online poker, exactly what many posters were saying would happen the second the Amaya deal happened back in 2014. The shift is closely analogous to what happened with live gambling in Vegas throughout the 90s and 2000s. There are still guys out there making good money from counting cards, but their skill levels and knowledge are staggering.

It's gotten to a similar point with online poker now. There are still profitable opportunities, but it's strictly a professional's game. The problem is, to paraphrase Doyle Brunson, if you have to ask for whom the game is profitable, it's not going to be profitable for you.

Also FWIW, Saturdays are typically and counterintuitively the lowest traffic day on Stars.

This thread is so tilting, I havn't played hu in a while but no one has actually posted a graph in this thread showing what kind of winrate you can get at nl50.

After reading this, i played 10k hands and saw some bad regs playing. From what i saw, i'm 100% sure i can beat this 50nl zoom pool, even with the awful rake. Already paid $750 and received only stupid chests.
