Hi everyone,

I'm a beginner who is extremely interested in HUNL. I was wondering what your default 4-bet strategy is against an opponent whom you have no reads on. More specifically, what is your default value:bluff ratio? Assume 100bb effective.

What if you know villain is 3-betting 17% with a polar range. What is your value:bluff ratio? What if he is 3-betting a 17% linear range?

I would really appreciate any help here, especially if you can elaborate on why you choose that ratio. Thanks!

Depends a bit on sizing

A good old school starting point is top 5% to stack off (AQ,99) and add another 5% of bluffs (Jxs, Txs type hand strength) if you got to 22bb.

For newer ranges you can take a look at Snowie for free.

For top notch GTO ranges you can purchase preflop range packs for Monker, Pio or Simple.
