Is it correct to fold a straight here? Is it correct to fold a straight here?

Hi everybody - back after an extremely long hiatus (8 years give or take) and am starting to take the game seriously again.

Relatively new to Heads Up and I got a little lost in this hand. Should I have folded here on the river? And, if that was the correct play, does that mean I should have given up on the Turn?

Thanks.

It's ok, i think he would be folding any of his 9's to that turn bet, and you also rep well with it.

When he calls turn, he's strong. I like river bet for balance reasons and to maybe get value out of a 5. it can really go either way at this point, probably better to take the aggressive route like you did.

Great fold. I don't see any way he is bluffing here.

Is there any chance he's jamming A5?

This is heavily dependent on villain LDO. Snap fold vs some, call vs others. No reads/history?

Vs a random I don't hate how you played it, though I'd be inclined to check turn. I just don't see villain folding much after calling flop. It's very close though.

Are these stats filtered for HU?

I can't see how he's bluffing unless he made a hyper liberal double float w/ like 8c7 or is turning a hand like Ac9 into a bluff. I'd much rather call off here with like 6c5 than this hand.
