So, i've been discussing a hand I played today with a few people, and no one can really come up with an answer, so I thought i'd get the view of some 2p2 folk.

So, I only have 26 hands on this guy, and he's 23/13 which is pretty much irrelevant with 26 hands. I think flop and turn are fine, give me your thoughts also on those streets, but I'm more looking for advice on river.

At first I thought I should bet river, but when I actually think about a range of worse hands he can call river with, I don't think it can be justified, I think there's merit to it, since it does make the hand easier to play, but, that's basically just betting for information which as we all know is bad.

What really confuses everyone, including me, is his comment. "you have k???" which really make no sense, since it shouldn't make sense for me to check a K after betting flop + turn, it's also very weird that he does it before betting, rather then after betting when im thinking. Then he decides to bet anyway, to me it looks like a fish sitting there with quads/boat trying to make it look like he's betting worse then a K, but I don't think there's any worse value hands in his range, so all that makes sense is a small pair he's turning into a bluff, or a boat/trips/quads, I'm really confused as to what line I should take on the river. If you come in here telling me my line is bad, and don't explain anything and just say something like "b/f river" or "c/f flop", chances are I'll get very mad.

you have a bluff catcher, hes checking back Qx hands on the river so you beat none of his value hands.

id prob fold i dont see too many missed draws he has on the river, and only bluffs would be like 77-99 turning them self into a bluff

Yeah this is pretty close to exactly what I said in the OP, more asking if b/f river is > then c/f

In theory, you should probably bet this river, but in practice, I don't think people are heroing enough with 99 or whatever. So I don't mind the check. That's why this is such a good bluff-barrel run-out.
