Call/ fold? Not too much history with the player, could maybe but probably not see him doing this with AJ. Mainly put him on JT , 66, TT, JJ in his range. He could have a flush draw/straight draw , but like i said not too much history and based on the player pools at 2nl i dont really see them playing their flush draws aggressively. Stats show hes a bit loose and super fishy, but over the course of like 20k hands ive learned to respect raises because calling them has shown to be unprofitable unless its an aggro fish or i have a good history.

Also too note the raiser only had around 50 cents left , pot committing himself . And if i were to call id be pot committed too .

i like a check/call on the flop instead of cbetting.

As played it’s pretty close but probably a fold. If you think your only up against strong draws and value hands that beat you, you don’t have enough equity.

What Scott said. But isn't folding exploitable?

Don’t think you have to worry about being exploited in this spot at 2nl. You think If you fold here people will notice, and start raising you light when u cbet in 3bet pots?

Bigger pre. Against a 64/24 likely aggro fish I think I’m fine with bet/shoving flop. We’re up against TP and club draws quite often. Against a 25/5 would like a bet/fold line

As a default strategy, I guess check flop is ok. This is one of the best combos to bet so if we’re checking this I’d say we need to be range checking.

Didnt really think much of checking just because I️ don’t usually want to give my opponent a free card if he checks back. From previous play , I️ haven’t seen him so aggro so like the normal players on this which are passive they would just check back with air . Thanks for the replies , I️ ended up folding and think I made the right move cause he was pretty much passive the whole game . Thanks for the replies

This depends on your range. It's something you can completely figure out on your own if you really want to see if folding's exploitable.

Normally this would be a fold vs the average folk, but common people. The guy is playing somewhere around 64.15% of hands. If he has it, he has it. There is a decent chance he has a flush draw or a high jack.

Yeah, I'm just defaulting to not folding overpairs vs these guys.

Wouldn't fold here.

I don't mind checking flop against a guy who's not 64/25.

yeah upon second thought, maybe against a whale at 2nl a cbet is better then check call. Against a good player I like check call tho.

Oh, I didn't clarify on whether I think you should call or raise. I think once you face the raise you should put it all-in.

Versus some tighter opponents I may consider checking the flop. Vs. this guy, no way.

Haha right so we're folding AA if we're folding QQ ? We're continuing with 2p and up? Never shoving... always calling?
