prior to 2017 , I played very little tournaments , and I only declared winnings as an amateur since I had trading income that was always more meaningful . in 2017 it reversed as i had big stock losses and I started playing more live tournaments in turn for profit . i have around 50k+ in w2g from last year , and I have been filing out tax returns for myself and other's (not in gambling), but never a schedule C for just gambling . My question is ,, anyone who is an MTT player , that files a schedule C , if i can see a sample of it (obviously black out your name and ss#) . I have a good idea of how it should be done , but would like some feedback and comparisons .. and also, would appreciate any adivce on programs and apps . ive been using poker income for the past couple years .
