I'm considering moving to Latvia in the summer, and I'm trying to find information about the poker legislation there.
However, I haven't been able to find alot.
I remember finding a website stating a few months ago that poker legislation would change on January 1st, 2012, similar to France, Belgium, Italy, Spain etc.
However, I've been unable to retrieve any further details on this information since.
I've emailed Stars, and they merely stated the following:

We understand your concern and would like to assure you that we continue to provide service for players in Latvia.
If there ever be any request by the government for us to obtain the license, we will definitely follow needed regulations. Same way as we have already done with many other countries where we already hold a license.
If that is the case, please rest assured that we will inform all affected players in advance.
However, I'm not sure they even checked my questions with the Latvian PS support, so imo it still could be the changes are already taking place or planned to take place.
If anyone has ANY information (whatsoever) about the poker legislation/legality in Latvia, and/or possible future changes to it, please share it with me. (couldn't find anything on 2+2 so far either)
