The Online Poker Report article referenced for today's DAP is way out of date. If I'm not mistaken, IL SB1739, which passed the IL Senate and is now before the IL House, had the authorization of Internet gambling (and online poker) stripped from it by Senate Amendment No. 4, and in fact makes offering or playing any real-money online gambling/poker expressly a criminal act in IL.

Also removed was a controversial proposal to allow Internet gambling in Illinois
And for the reason it was removed:
Report: Internet gaming out

Thanks PX.

A friend tweeted it to me last night (as a reference article, no doubt) and, in my haste, I misread the article update date as May. LOL. I thought I'd get this in the DAP in real time and get the details this morning. I was sad this morning upon learning nothing there changed.
