TE, Can we please dedicate some day soon before September 14th to this?

SenatorReid Senator Harry Reid
Tweet your Qs about job creation efforts in Cong. w/hashtag #AskReidTH. I will ans. as many as I can at my 9/14 Twitter Town Hall
I understand that Reid is quite on our side and already has some ambition to get this done at some point, but I feel we need to really push and show him just how many people are behind this. The man has a lot on his plate in this crazy political era we are living in and I think he needs to have every reason to push his colleagues to get ipoker into these deficit and jobs discussions.

Here is what I tweeted.

This is a really good idea, and we need to start pushing this now! Even the tiniest bit of airtime could help get poker leaked into the big picture of the super committee, or just Congress in general.

This needs a lot of support. Let's do this! 500 RTs by the 14th! That would be really awesome!

Agreed. I just realized that the town hall is for questions, so we will need to word our pro poker tweets in question form for Reid.

My tweaked tweet for Senator Reid.

No, that didn't work. Here's what I wrote:

#AskReidTH @SenatorReid will u help create 1000s of JOBS & billions in REVENUES by pushing 4 online poker legislation 2 the Super Committee?

It will take you less than thirty seconds! Thank you for participating. Let's focus on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), who has ASKED us for input for an upcoming town hall:
  1. Send a prefilled, editable pro-poker Twitter message HERE
  2. Wait at least an hour, then send another Twitter message HERE (you can track the messages here).
Please reply in this thread with "tweeted", "done", etc. to encourage others to participate as well. The past SEVENTEEN actions have generated triple-digit participation, so let's keep it growing. Thanks!

Thank you for trying to get more people involved, I wish more people would be like you. If others would do it, we would never have a problem getting 100 people.

It's pathetic how little poker players do for their freedom to play online poker. How many PPA members are there? It doesn't actually matter, because you don't have to support the PPA to do the action threads. ~100 people are involved in liking posts, how many damn people play poker. I'm rambling, but it's so frustrating that people want online poker but they aren't willing to work for it.

Taylor Caby, Krantz, and other business owners are the worst type. Their business depends on poker and it has made them a ton of money, have they done anything, are they actually involved in anything to help the fight?
