Let's all start reaching out to
members of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee via Facebook regarding their
Nov. 17th hearing to examine the impact of Internet gaming regulation on Indian tribes. Perhaps say something along the lines of:
Quote:
The U.S. Congress is considering legislation to license and regulate online poker. As a poker enthusiast, I encourage a competitive marketplace for Internet poker. I welcome a variety of entities to be eligible for Internet poker licensure, including Indian tribes, state lotteries, pari-mutuel racing, commercial gaming companies, and others that meet appropriate suitability requirements. By allowing for a competitive market, we can ensure the best consumer product and also ensure the greatest amount of revenue.
If you have not done so already, I urge you to please support HR 2366, the bipartisan Online Poker Act.
Let's all pick out at least four Facebook walls on which to post and like pro-poker comments this weekend. If you wish to do more, please work through all of them. When done, please reply in this thread with "tweeted", "posted", "done", etc. to encourage others to participate. The past
67 actions have generated triple-digit participation, so let's keep it growing. Thanks!
