Finally created new twitter account and did those. My friends would unfollow me in a second if they had to deal with 10+ of those every so often.

your friends won't see them unless they happen to follow the Senator/Rep you are tweeting to

also, just a reminder since we're getting a lot of great participation lately...your tweets must be public. If your Twitter is set to "Private" the legislators will never see your tweets

Thanks for joining in! As you were the first one to join in the daily action plan back in 2007, it didn't seem right without you in.

Let's continue telling the Payroll Tax Conference Committee to include online poker in their discussions. The committee needs to resolve this matter by the end of February, so the timing is perfect for us. Rumors are flying about this on all the poker forums, so let's do our part to stand up for this!
  1. Let's send the Payroll Tax Conference Committee members + Sen. Reid & Sen. McConnell NEW tweets urging inclusion of federal online poker legislation: HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.
  2. Let's post and like pro-poker comments on the Facebook wall of Payroll Tax Conference Committee member Rep. Sander Levin (D): HERE
  3. Now that we have had an action to post comments to each Payroll Tax Conference Committee member's Facebook wall let's go back like all the pro-poker comments -- and post some new ones: HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.
  4. Rep. Charles Bass (R-NH) expressed concern at the last House Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade Subcommittee hearing on online gaming regarding the potential impact of online gaming on state lotteries. I posted my thoughts on this to his FB wall HERE. He responded that he is taking a careful look at the Barton Bill. Let's go to the post and thank Rep. Bass for responding. Thanks!
  5. Let's send a NEW prefilled tweet promoting the daily action plan: HERE
Please reply in this thread with "tweeted", "done", etc. to encourage others to participate. The past 153 actions have generated triple-digit participation, so let's keep it growing. Thanks!

If you wish to do more today, let's reach out to the Senate Indian Affairs Committee membership via Facebook with respectful requests for them to support poker. Simply like the pro-poker posts and make a supportive post of your own. When commenting on preexisting lawmaker posts, please be sure the post is appropriate for pro-poker comments.
