For some reason I can't post on a few walls, like Jan Schakowsky's, even though I have no problem on most of them. Anyone know what's up?

I often edit the tweets a little, I think it maybe helps if anybody looks at them to see different tweets on the same topic.

Anywho - for today's I especially don't like the wording. "Don't support a ban of online poker" or something like that. Sort of a double negative. Instead of 'don't support a ban' you could just say 'support'.

I also don't like having the phrase 'ban online poker' or 'online poker ban' in there since these people receive thousands of tweets, and if anyone looks at them, its surely only a glance, so I don't want them to only cherry pick the 'ban' part, and miss the 'oppose the ban' part and totally misinterpret my intentions.

so thats why I always rephrase my tweets in an affirmative tone, as opposed to a negative or double negative tone.

You've probably been banned as a fake page. Evidently Shackowky's staff is not to bright.

Thanks. I think it's great to edit the tweets, prewritten letters to Congress, and stuff like that to individualize them.

It's not a double-negative, though.

Opposing a government ban on an activity is not the same as supporting that activity. Our opponents like to claim it is, of course. They equate free speech supporters with "smut peddlers," those who don't support efforts to ban poker with being an advocate of people playing, etc. We're not asking Romney to come out and say he supports online poker at this point. Rather, we want him to refuse to support efforts to ban it.
