Sometimes a picture says it all, yes?

I am actually amazed at the lack of trolls in these Daily Action Plan threads.

I just got blocked from "like"ing stuff on facebook. I got a pop-up saying I was abusing the feature. Boooo. I really do like all the stuff I've been clicking on. WTF? So lame.

Yea has the same thing happen to me. Should come back on within a day or so. Just try not to hyper like. Take breaks.

Just finish Friday's list with a few 100 likes.

Blackout period would be 150 days, assuming all goes according to schedule (as required by the provisions of the bill). Also I doubt we would lose all the US-facing sites during that period. Certainly not Bodog.

Well my likes are disabled and I got a warning. I will have to slow way down on Sunday's list.

The blackout period would be a max of 150 days, right? On top of that, since we're in a permanent blackout, what we'd really we'd be getting is a timeline...something that would be wholly appreciated from FTP.

And after experiencing this blackout, I will not approve of any legislation that continues the blackout. The PPA endorses legislation that contains continued blackouts - that is not acceptable.

Shutting down our business for months or years, just so corporations can create a product, is not acceptable.

So you prefer a permanent blackout? I've got to say, you're probably not in the right place.

Main thing: Contact your Congressman and Senators and ask them to co-sponsor HR 2366. Ask them to vote for it if it comes up for a vote.

Extra point: Congressman and Senators really respond to grass roots enthusiasm.

I'm trying like heck to keep up with the tasks the best I can while taking care of my baby all day long. I got yesterday's and today's Facebooks done. But I'm feeling kinda depressed 'cause:

1. I can't play online poker

2. I live in a country that thinks I need to be protected from myself (see #1) but would let me go buy a gun instead

3. I can't get any of my friends to do any of these lobbying tasks, even though a lot of them play poker and some of them are even on 2+2 for F's sake

4. I'm not even a big fan of this bill. It's better than nothing, so I'm supporting it. But it just smells like a big ol' Harrah's money-making bonanza to me.

Ok, here is the Judiciary Committee info. This is the only place I'm posting it for now so somebody with a better brain that me has to remember where it is. This is one of 3 committees we have to get it through, though Energy and Commerce is first. I'm just trying to get a little bit ahead. It looks like this committee might be a tough nut to crack.

The FOR/AGAINST/UNDECIDED/UNKNOWN after each name is based on H.R.1174 which was an internet gambling law, not specific to poker, so don’t assume they still feel the same. Having said that, I think we should particularly work on the undecided folks and convince them to side with us.

If it says they have cancer and are being treated, don’t write anything but, “best wishes for a speedy recovery.” Though I see nothing wrong with saying, “from an online poker player.” 

+1 and it has nothing to do with the PPA. They can't make the law, unfortunately.
