Are the politicians in your state responding to your battle cries for internet poker? Are the politicians in your state responding to your battle cries for internet poker?

I am a New York resident. I have sent here and there emails to my NY Congressmen. I just received back a few days ago this email from my Assembly Majority Leader, Joseph Morelle the following response:

"Thank you for contacting my office to express your support for A.5250, which authorizes the New York State Gaming Commission to license certain entities to offer for play to the public certain variants of internet poker.

As you may already know, A.5250 was referred to the New York State Assembly Codes Committee on June 15, 2017, and did not come to the floor for a vote before the conclusion of this year’s legislative session. I will keep your support for this bill in mind should it come before me for a vote during the next legislative session.

Once again, thank you for your letter and sharing your thoughts and support of this legislation with me. If I can be of any assistance to you in the future, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Warmest personal regards,"

Joseph D. Morelle
Majority Leader

So this thread is about 2 things:

1. Please feel free and share your own congressmen responses on here with the rest of us. Many of us online poker players would like to hear what they have to say too.

2. Continue sending emails, tweets, etc. when you can to your state congressmen for legalization of internet poker.
