Playing online poker in Belgium as a foreigner

Hello everyone,
Im going to spend the next 3 months in Belgium,
so I wrote to Pokerstars support asking whether I should play on Pokerstars.ES (Im a Spanish resident) or on .com.
Their answer surprised me, said non-tax residents are not allowed to play online poker at all while in Belgium,
they are probably right, but I figured I'd ask for confirmation.
Did a quick search but found nothing specific. Can you help?

You can't access the EU client playing from Belgium as a foreigner, and since you're not a resident of Belgium you're not allowed to play on Stars.be unfortunately.
