Current prospects for interstate internet poker? Current prospects for interstate internet poker?

I live in NJ, one of the states where it’s legal to play online poker against other players in the state. The problem is, because of the small player pool, there is often a poor variety of games available. I know some other states have also made it legal for their citizens. I also know there has been talk of an agreement between states to allow multiple states to share the same player pool. My question is what is the status of this? Could this potentially happen in the near future? And what about people n NJ or Nevada being allowed to play with people in other countries? Would that be up to the states or would that require congress to act?
Thanks.

New Jersey, Nevada and Delaware are currently pooling. Only sites that are allowed in all three states are able to poo, their games of course though.

Yeh, That was pretty clear in the thread that Xanadu directed me to, thanks.
I play on PokerStars so I guess I’m going to have to wait.
