FYI, if you make a comment on a Congressperson's Facebook page and mention voting or elections, the comment may get removed.

Ron Paul actually informed me of this. I left a comment on his page to the nature of "Thanks for supporting online poker! You are awesome and I will vote for you when you run for President." He replied and thanked me but told me that he has to remove the post because the rules say that he can't have discussions of elections or voting on his Facebook page.

I take that to mean that there is some rulebook or guideline that Congresscritters must follow regarding social media. Keep that in mind when leaving comments.

Indeed. I really want to ask Jon Kyl to point out where in the Congressional Facabook rules it says that he can delete my post and ban me when all I did was politely ask him to defend his position on the UIGEA.

It's his facebook. He can delete whatever he wants.

obv he's gonna delete anything that makes him look bad. All we can do is bombard the page and hope some posts stick and that others take notice.

Have you ever deleted something on Facebook? What gives you that right? That person wanted everyone to see that embarrassing pic of you. Why should you be able to deprive him of that?
