Hi,
I am a tax resident in Russia which means I pay all my income tax in Russia. I have two questions if you can help out:
1) I understand that online poker is a grey zone in Russia. Not completely legal or illegal. Government can't easily track if I play online but if I am withdrawing large sums of money to my bank account, I guess they can question about tax.
According to tax rules, do you need to pay tax on online poker winnings in Russia? If yes, what do you say as source of income (if poker is not fully legal). If no, what do you do if they ask about the source of money?
2) I also play at Casino Sochi and this year I have profit due to good score in a tournament. Do I need to pay income tax for that?
