How do you guys feel about it? would any of you ever hire a gigolo for ****s and giggles???

I haven't seen the show, but I wouldn't ever pay for it. P*ssy is like currency, so it just doesn't make sense to pay for sex unless you just want to inflate some guy's ego for the hell of it. I just ask them if they've been working out. Same effect and I get off cheap.

I can't say I would never entertain the thought of a gigolo, but I'm sure once I did I would lol, quickly snap out of it and then just go down to the nearest bar.

I had a very bizarre conversation last night at the Rio.

Something that I did prompted a guy to ask me a couple of questions while heading back into the Rio after a tournament break.

Then he asked, "Have you ever watched the show Gigolos?" I haven't watched it, but I told him that I had heard of it (because of this thread).

Turned out that it was Garren James (I guess he was on a few episodes of the show).

You obviously crushed his ego because in his mind he was saying, "Damn it, I'm an actor on TV. You're supposed to know who I am and fawn over me." It is the paradox of performing arts. When unknown, they want you to know them. When famous, they wish you wouldn't recognize them. Do you think like George Clooney would feel the need to identify himself to a stranger?

Who is Garren James? :/ I watch the show but that name doesnt ring a bell.

And in regards to famous people, Im notorious for looking at a famous person like they have a third head and turn away afterward not realizing who they are. It recently happened again with a basketball player I watch a million times a season, The floor person was nice enough to clue me in when he got up to use the restroom

Season 2 is underway. Steven and Jimmy both have the gay vibe.

The concept of The Brace Philosophy was one of the highlights of Season 1.

I'm happy they got a second season its a very interesting thing to watch.

Good grief. This show has already been shown to be another phony, scripted 'reality' show. If you have Showtime watch Dexter or Homeland ... gigolos is pretty lame.

The Daily Beast was able to reach one woman depicted on the show, and she freely admits her appearance on Gigolos is entirely fictional. She claims she was hired by one of the show’s producers. “They came to me and said they wanted to work with me,” she says. “They found me through a website. They wanted to know what skills I had. Then they created a scenario where I would need an escort, and they hired me.”

This woman asked that her name be withheld for fear of violating a nondisclosure agreement. But she considers her job on Gigolos to be work as an actress. The sex was simulated for the camera, she says; and she claims she certainly did not pay the male escort for anything. “It’s a reality show. No one believes that ****. Everyone knows that’s all scripted. I had fun, and it was great. They were cool people to work with. I would have done a prostitute show if they paid me.” (When asked to comment for this article—and specifically asked whether the network cares about the show’s fakery—a Showtime publicist wrote in an email, “The network does not want to participate in this story.”)

Most people are aware of this, I view it for fun, dont try to go too deep into the schematics of it all. It is what it is.
