I've also seen instances where something was reported on G911, and other sites copied the story and posted it a short time later, pretty much verbatim.

I really don't want to attribute bad motives to someone without overwhelming evidence and/or proof.

I do have a question...What does the delay in the Regs mean to FTP??? The Law is still the Law so if FTP was in violation of the UIGEA the day Bush signed it into Law they are still now and will be regardless of whether or not the Regs are ever implemented...

Most likely collecting ALL activity would be pretty standard. If they need your cooperation and can use other "issues" a helpful Persuasion, they certainly would.

Also, why did you preface your second post containing information from your friend, with "I almost don't even want to post this now"? Is it because you did not get much information from the second call? It does look as though, at least from what you said, that suddenly you are having a hard time "getting a hold" of him? Is he not a good friend? Would you mind asking him to come here and tell his story? Could you give his phone number to The Engineer so that he could interview him?

Surely you wouldn't pass up an opportunity to have The Engineer ask your friend some questions, and answer some of your friends questions.

Great! To be clear by "interview" I did not mean interrogate, I simply think it's a great idea to have a chance to talk with someone from the PPA, and it would make OP's friend feel more at ease I'm sure. We all might also get to have a clearer view of what happened.
