It is a joke grinding 20 tables nl2 and nl5 to make a few bucks, while spending hours and hours grinding.
How so? Let me give you an example:
When I was visiting educational school back in the day, I had no money other than what I earned through Poker, while already living on my own (rent had to be paid, I had to pay the school monthly, and I had to eat somehow too). No savings whatsoever, so I had to make sure the Money would come in on a monthly basis.
What I needed per month (about 600€/month at the least) may have been really low even for european standards, but basically I had the choice of doing some shitty Job on the side that I'd hate, for minimum wage, (about 8€/hr at the time), or massgrind 1€-3€ SNGs and have at least some enjoyment in it (and pretty stable money as well because I'd already get about 600€/month in total Rakeback) for roughly the same hourly.
Guess it's obvious I chose to grind.
That being said - if one is winning at all, they are already a minorty by far in Poker, so in my Book a winning NL5 Player deserves more respect than some random NL100 guy splashing around their Money. Not the case in most peoples' head I guess.
