Done with today's plan but will be doing the extra stuff throughout the day.
Let's make some of our posts to the subcommittee members focus on the safety issues around internet gambling, since that is what the hearing is about.
As an example, I wrote this on BonoMack's & Blackburn's pages:
Tuesday’s hearing on Internet gaming is long overdue. Millions of Americans have been gambling online at foreign sites for more than a decade. We need regulations so problem gamblers have stop limits in place, people too young to vote can't gamble online, and the players and sites themselves cannot commit fraud. Thanks for hearing this important issue. I, personally, do not support blanket online gambling. I do, however, STRONGLY support H.R.2366 and online poker.
I think it's important to tailor our message to the people we're contacting. The super committee members need to hear a message about jobs and revenues. But this commerce subcommittee needs to hear a message about safety issues and regulation.
We're poker players. We adjust.
