**** Thursday #Fight4Poker ****

• Let's send individualized pro-poker tweets to six Senate Judiciary Committee members. Verbiage can be as simple as copying & pasting one of the following examples, but try to edit even these a bit:
- Licensed U.S. online poker sites' age & identity verification technology keeps underage players off their sites.
- Licensed online poker provides tools for law enforcement, mandated age verification & liberty. Please support.
- Congress rejected instate online poker bans in 2006. Adelson's RAWA restores nothing. It's a new ban. Please oppose RAWA.

⇒ Ranking Member John Conyers [D-MI]: http://spredd.it/wUr33475

It has been almost 4 years since "black Friday" with basically ZERO change in the political hopes of regulated legal online poker.

With regards to the PPA they have almost no credibility with poker players. After all, why would it benefit them to be successful and work themselves out of a job

@ SamuraiPlaya: I am living the poker dream. I have a regulated, real money poker account in NJ, where online poker is regulated and permitted. Please join us and fight for my right to continue playing poker in America.

My friends at theppa.org are going to continue to fight for the rights of online poker players until online poker is regulated in all 50 states. We shall fight in the sea, we shall fight in the air, in the cities, in the towns, in the countryside, hand for hand if we have to. For we shall never give up. Our fight is just starting. The last four years have been very difficult for all American online poker players. However, this is not the beginning of the end, it is merely the end of the beginning. For more information, please visit theppa.org

Whatever you do, please do NOT give up. We will not give up. If you have time after reading my lengthy post, please consider completing the weekend daily action plan.

For starters, PPA isn't some for-profit outfit asking for your support. PPA is the organized community effort to fight back for our game. In other words, it's not PPA's job to fight the fight for you. Rather, it's up to every one of us to stand for ourselves. PPA helps us organize that.

If you have better ideas, (share them in a different thread). If you're just sitting back expecting someone else to fight your fight, and then complaining that these others aren't good enough to suit you, then you're part of the problem
