That is odd. We haven't see that problem before that I know of. Have you tried again?

Tuesday's Action: Tell Rep. Chris Van Hollen
(D-MD) to Push the Debt Super Committee to Include Online Poker Legislation

Simply take a moment to sign into your Facebook account, click here and post your message asking Rep. Van Hollen to protect our right to play online poker by supporting HR 2366! Please "like" the other pro-poker posts there as well.

Yesterday's action had 148 likes. Let's bump this action to triple digits as well!

Recurring action:Tell the Debt Super Committee to Include Online Poker Legislation

U.S. House and Senate leaders have appointed twelve members of Congress to serve on the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction. This “super committee" is charged with developing policies to reduce the U.S. deficit and then make specific recommendations to Congress which will be voted on. This is a great opportunity for us to make our voices heard. Let's go to their Facebook pages and let them know that we want them to take action on the online poker issue!

The names with an “x” in front of them are those who do not allow direct posting on their Facebook wall. Simply post a comment in response to an appropriate post (i.e., one suitable for a pro-poker comment) already on the page. PLEASE remember to say please and thank you. Courtesy goes a long way.

Let's all also remember to revisit these walls to like the pro-poker posts and comments made since your last visit. Thanks!

Here's the Super Committee:

Let's have tomorrow's action focused on Sen. John Kerry's (D-MA) walls (he has two). If a few of us can post there around midnight ET, I'll choose the best one from each wall for that action. Thanks!

Some afternoon nitpicking: "55 volunteers + 10 sec each = a win for Wednesday!" should be changed to "55 volunteers X 10 sec each = a win for Wednesday!"

Usually I can click on the "thumbs up" icon next to "X# people like this" and it will add me to the list. It does not. Tried again today with the new one and it did not do anything... again....

I "friended" Rich, thinking that might be the problem, but still no go...

[2:33:16 PM] Sheryl J.: Link ^^^ -- somebody, please go to VanHollen's page, click on most recent, scroll down to just beyond Ryan Wold and Phil G, and post comments under all of the comments who have the HR number wrong. So when they post tomorrow, they might do it right. I cannot make posts or comments, or I would do it. Thanks.

I've said it before but it really seems like a shame that of the thousands of people who visit this site and love to play poker, we're struggling to get a hundred people each day to participate..

Yes. Our lobbyists report that many lawmakers have mentioned that they are hearing from a bunch of us via Facebook.

This is making a difference.
