Hello guys
Sorry if the thread is in the wrong place, please be free to move it if needed.
I am struggling regarding poker winnings in Sweden.
It say :
> Gambling winnings you have to declare and pay tax on if your winnings are over SEK 100 and are:
>
> -games that are aimed at the Swedish gambling market and require a license in Sweden but the gambling operator does not have a Swedish gambling license
> -online games that are not specifically aimed at a gambling market within the EEA
> -games that are physically provided outside the EEA, for example at a casino in the US
> from a pyramid scheme.

My question is, what do you think about poker sites that do not have a license in Sweden but in the EEE ? And sites that do not have any license but seems to be located in the EEE ( Cyprus for WPTGlobal for exemple )
For exemple, do i need to pay taxes if i play on Winamax ? because it say "the game does not require a license in Sweden and is aimed at a gambling market in a country within the European Economic Area (EEA).", doest that mean that a poker site need a license ( because there is licensed poker sites as 888.se, pokerstars.se etc ) or can we just say that if a poker site is located in the EEE, it's tax free ?
Thank you very much !
