I went out to lunch with a straight female friend who doesn't know poker, and all of the sudden she starts going on about how awesome and hot Vanessa Selbst is (in addition to spewing off her bio).

I was like - LDO.

Spoiler:
Then I talked about how I busted her from a PLO WSOP last year

It did, but it sounds like it could have gotten hair. My professor told me that some students stayed after class that day to tell him what happened, and he asked if anything got physical, and someone said a couple guys almost got physical with me, which I had no idea about.

Howdy!

I was wondering if there are any meet-ups coming up.

I will be in town from 30 May until 06 June.

As for content, here is an excellent video.
C'est incroyable.

Minnesota becomes the 12th state to legalize it. How many do you think will adopt it by the end of the year? In 3 years?

I think 16 by the end of the year, probably 26 by 2016. I mean, how good does it feel to see how fast the tide is changing? 10 years ago we were a disease and now we are seen as real life humans. I think when it all goes down in the history books, this will be seen as the greatest movement of the decade and probably the generation.

The supreme court is ruling on this issue this year, so it could be legal nationally this year. Hopefully they don't **** up the ruling.

The tide will change legally before it will change in a lot of hearts and minds, just like segregation ended while many people still thought blacks were inferior human beings.

But any change like that is good to see. The progressive states will be first, as usual. It's more fascinating (to me) when states like Mississippi or Kentucky start swinging.

National legalization is nearly certainly not going to be the result of the rulings; both rulings are likely going to be confined to individual states (Prop 8 likely gets kicked back to California for statutory reasons, meaning same-sex marriage is legal as per appellate court ruling and Windsor would really only apply to states that already have same-sex marriage)

Yeah, national is not going to happen that fast, and will not come from the Supreme Court rulings. I think it will be legal federally across the US by 2016, but until then more and more states will pass it.

I have a ton of friends from MN and they are all celebrating tonight. I'm pretty butthurt they passed it before IL. IL will happen before June 15, mark it down.

If I had to guess, you'd be the only one here that I would have thought to do so.

Born and raised in Oklahoma. Going to OSU OKC for an electronics engineering technology associates degree. I'm moving to Colorado after I complete it. I have a lot of family there and always visited there regularly, and moved up there to work for my uncle from 03-04.
