He may be the GOAT, but he's also an ASS! You would think after playing for so long he'd be used to the idea that the best hand doesn't always win and bad beats happen. He acts like a spoiled child who doesn't get his own way. He's an embarrassment to the game and to himself.

Uhmm I've watched like, almost all poker youtube videos... so yeah, I saw a lot of phil hellmuth, I think he's entertaining in his own way of being him... which is a little silly, and I can't help but smile when he rages out and gets sucked upon.... but yeah, he's not the goat, and far from it. He's getting litteraly wrecked by the pros out there, I mean, i still consider him a pro, but like, he's like the worst of the best, something like that. He's getting bluffed a lot, it's almost an on-going scheme, if you know how phil hellmuth plays, you HAVE to bluff him lol! but yeah, at a 1-2 table hellmuth would wreck the **** out of the people... but at a pro table with 300k on the line...mm... I think he barely pulls his needle, if at all. You have to consider too that he won most of his millions when the games where easier and less known... and with the actual poker bloom, I dont think he's catching up that much. But yeah, when I watch 200 videos+ of phil hellmuth plays with cards shown, his play just always looks and feels a bit weaker than the pros he's playing with.

Very few players go that far back and have played as many world series events as Phil.

Phil never played the biggest cash games in the world. Wouldn't a Goat have to do that.

its amazing in 2022 people think mtt players are actual good poker players while they cross their fingers praying to the gods their flip wins. Then they sun run and get first and stamp poker pro on their forehead. Hellmuth is good mtt player but hes not the best. If anyone thinks he is, is living in la la land.

Phil Ivey is the GOAT for poker in general, but even judged on MTTs he's better than Hellmuth.

I'd say Stephen Chidwick is the best MTT player in the world right now.

Dnegs is better at MTTs than Hellmuth. Justin Bonomo is better. Bryn Kenney is better. Fedor Holz is better. Jason Koon is better. Dan Smith is better. Erik Seidel is better. Antonio Esfandiari is better.

Everyone I mentioned has more career MTT winnings than Hellmuth. Most have double.
