Is there anywhere that offers micro-stakes heads up cash? Where is lowest rake? Is it a dead game dominated by cheaters? I played 6max on gg but want to switch to work on my technical game and they don't over it on gg. Am planning on starting at either 2NL or 5NL and working my way up. Does anyone have any training resources/ study groups. I am a winning player at 25NL R and C on gg but new to HU. Learning relatively quickly imo. Theory orientated player.

iPoker network has regular HU NLHE cash games for the stakes €0.01/€0.02, €0.02/€0.04, €0.05/€0.10, €0.10/€0.20, €0.25/€0.50, €0.50/€1, €1/€2, €2/€4, €3/€6, and €5/€10. Winamax has regular HU NLHE cash games for the stakes €0.01/€0.02, €0.02/€0.05, €0.05/€0.10, €0.10/€0.20, and €0.15/€0.30, along with fast-fold HU NLHE cash games for the stakes €0.25/€0.50, €0.50/€1, €1/€2, and €2/€4. PartyPoker has fast-fold HU NLHE cash games for the stakes $0.05/$0.10, $0.25/$0.50, $0.50/$1, $1/$2, and $2.50/$5. The lowest HU NLHE cash game rake is found for the stakes NL10 and below probably on Winamax, and for the stakes from NL20 to NL1000 on iPoker (roughly the same as PokerStars), and above NL1000 on PokerStars.

I made a chart to better understand the rake in HU NLHE tables. I chose to ignore micro-stakes because the rake seems ridiculously high there.

The rake is too high heads up and you run the risk of running into a heads up bot. Heads up is also highly territorial and plays top of the mountain. The best players own the lobby as they wait for a recreational player to show up.

If you want to make money play tournaments. Lot's of recreationals play those and the rake structure is way better. The downside is there is a huge amount of variance in tournament poker.
