Im looking for somewhere, probably semi 3rd world to move for a couple months and grind. First, here is a little bit about myself. Ive been playing professionally for several years both live and online. Im a very good tournament player, a decent NL cash player, and capable of solidly beating soft pl omaha cash games.

I have two main questions.



1. What countries have reasobable rake structures, good live games, and a reasonable cost of living?

2. How hard is it as a US player living abroad to set up accounts on global poker sites that do not serve the US?

If you haven't done it already I'd give Argentina a try. The live scene is acceptable -rake 5% with tables in USD and ARS- with some casinos in the most populated areas.
Safety-wise better than the US on average and obviously cheaper. You can play on pretty much all the relevant sites (GG, PS, but no Party) and the cultural landscape is vibrant, lots of expats and Argentines who speak English (language won't be an issue if you go to Buenos Aires).
Regarding your second question my intuition tells me GG will be easier to access compared to PS; I'd contact both sites and let them know what I'll do and see what they tell you.
