What countries in the Caribbean have made online poker/gambling explicitly legal?

I'm assuming it is in Antigua but what about places like Saint Maarten, St. Kitts, Turks etc...?

St Maarten (dutch side), Curacao, Aruba and Bonaire are all explicitly legal regarding european operated gambling platforms. Individual taxation per island applies and ranges from 10% to 29% gambling tax plus (or instead of) income tax.

Caymans/US territories are gonna be the worst places. Other than that, I wouldn't worry much. Most countries down there were/are involved in IGaming in some way, usually sports betting.

They are currently in an international "trade war" with the US over online gambling. Antigua wants the US to end prohibition and allow gaming operators licensed in Antigua to offer games to US citizens. The WTO agreed(a little) and allowed Antigua to break US copyright laws to the tune of $21m/year. Think megavideo except sanctioned and legal. Last thing that I read said they are moving forward with sanctions.

Should be safe in Antigua.

I am planning to move to St. Maarten (Dutch Side) But if I do not give up that I am playing professional and the money is on stars than I easily do not have to pay any income tax cause I have other stable income coming in every month what is been taxed. And I can play on the pokerstar.eu platform over there?

Please advice me in this.

Are you asking your legality question

(a) from the perspective of operating a poker business or something related thereto or

(b) from the perspective of playing from Antigua as a player ?

If (a), then yes, you can get a gaming license and operate a poker business from Antigua.

If (b), I do not know the legality answer regarding playing, without looking it up. I lived there years ago, and at that time, the answer would have been "yes". FWIW, Antigua allows live casino gambling, including poker.

Nice island, pretty, lots of beaches on both the Atlantic and Caribbean sides, quiet (but really dull), high cost of living, Antiguans speak Englsh, friendly, play cricket, drive on the wrong side of the road, and by and large are very religious people.
