I've been playing hyper turbo heads up sngs for 3 years now (about 10k games) and I simply cannot win. I am about to give up. Certainly not a crusher but Jesus, I am not a --10% loser. I have purged my HM3 stats at least 10 times because after 500 games I am down 40 buy ins. Simply not possible. I am not open pushing or calling J2o with 15bb.

Sometimes I lose 7 buy ins in one hour but win only 1 after 2hours of focused grinding. I am 2 tabling on stars 10.- sngs.

Can anyone have a look at this graph and give me some insight into wtf is going on?

Seriously, though..."I'm losing. Why?" with literally no corresponding information to go on, is unanswerable. However, as time goes on, there are two emerging answers: a) the people I play with are better than I OR b) I've been unlucky.

As the sample gets larger, the likelihood of a) increases and that of b) decreases. So the longer you continue to lose, the more likely it is that you're not playing well enough to win. Precisely quantifying the relative likelihood is impossible, but after a while, you develop a...suspicion.

Yeah maybe he's playing against bots. Maybe he's playing a superuser rat... Maybe he's playing against the HOUSE.

Thx folks, I deliberately kept the information to a minimum. I mean nobody wants to hear bad beat stories or any figures regarding my game. I simply asked the "wrong" question with wft is going on?

My intention was to find someone who can relate to that graph and mini sample size and share his experience.

I guess, I have to keep on grinding 10k games and see if I go broke.

I would say seek out a poker coach to give you insight on your game which you can discuss in detail. How are we suppose to know by looking at a graph of you sucking with no hand information what you are doing wrong? Id say tighten up your range and only play in position with that which you know. Do not limp good cards as maybe you are getting blown off your hands. GL either way, don't go broke and realize when to quit. Drop down in stakes and figure this stuff out before then... Or just PM me and you can mail me your money. Ill take it.

I will get to a coach after a big enough sample and for now just do my best not to go broke and keep grinding.

The graph doesn't really show any info that users can help you with. It just shows your losing over a small sample size.

Are you studying at all? Or reviewing sessions? If you're losing in the games you need to spend more time actually studying than playing.

Also if you want to focus on SNG I'd move down to the smallest stakes you can find and try and beat that game over a decent amount of volume. Once you are comfortable move-up to the next stake and repeat.

If you are breaking even at the lowest level where rake is a ripoff, and losing at the next level up where it isn't, which makes you more money?

Guys, thanks a lot for your support but I wanna make clear here one thing once and for all. I am not talking about, oooh life is so unfair, I got my AA cracked vs 83o. I simply cannot believe to be a glaring losing hyper hu player after at least 5k games.

If I am breaking even at the lowest stake, what's the point in your comment then? It doesn't matter if I break even at 2.- or lose at 5.- It's both lost money. My goal is to slowly but surely build a roll with 100 buy ins with a reasonable rip-off rake of 2.1%. People tell me to hire a coach. Yeah, of course, but would you hire a coach with a 20-40 buy in loss after 500 games? Come on guys. I need a 10k sample for a coach. How the hell am I gonna reach it if I lose 20 to 40 buy ins repeatedly,?

I guess you just don't understand the meaning of the term break even

This games are full of bots, start playing MTTs low stakes, marry with HRC and embrace the grind.

Why in the hell are you playing a game where you consistently lose? Go find a table full of fish and let them fund your HU losses.
