I haven't made big bluffs that much.. they just don't seem like they work out for me as well as back in the day. Any pointers or literature out there?

Appreciate.

Yes. Know your opponents. It is not possible to tell from your post(not working as well) whether or not they are currently +ev but by less than before or are now negative ev. It looks like your opponents are getting better so they now call you more often when they weren't calling often enough before. Try to see whether the entire pool has changed or only certain opponents are now doing this.

Having good blockers to strong hands or un- blocking your opponents draws generally good candidates.

If you are playing micro stakes it probably is expected that you will not be too successful with bluffs. If they always call with any hand, then the right adjustment would be to never bluff. Obviously they are not always calling, but rather are calling too much. The logical adjustment then is to reduce the frequency at which you bluff. If your bluffs truly are not successful as much as they used to be, then it is up to you to adjust to that reality and bluff less. You don’t need as many bluffs anyway if you are making up for the EV you used to get by bluffing with the increased EV that you naturally will get when your opponents call your value bets too often.

Thanks dumbo yes. And stremba that how you explained the ev is crazy smart.. I should say I've been playing mug more plo and online so unless your playing high stakes which I haven't lately there's not much bluffing situations.. in an eight hour session playing live nl would you guys say if you are playing correctly there's maybe four good bluffing opportunities for decent pots and maybe one or two big ones???
