First of all I'd like to say that I'm a pro and I put in heavy volume, so I can tell you for sure the doomswitch exists or at least bad runs exist (running bad while playing wery well I mean, I not referring to bad runs in which the player plays like a donkey).

I'm not looking to have people argue with me here that : "No there are no bad runs", "you can't get unlucky over 1000/3000/10 000 hands" or any of the sort. Yesterday I played 8500 hands, lost 5 all ins with set over set, and other two hands with next best hand also. ALSO BESIDES THESE HANDS (which are not EV related) I ran 6 buyins under EV (I played very well so even in that circumstance including rakeback I won small).
The most obvious way where you'll notice the existance of bad runs is when you run horribly on a site for 3000 hands, open anothe site and you sun-run.

These bad runs happen once every blue moon once every 50 000 to 100 000 hands or so.
The sun-runs happen just as rarely.

So with all the respect in the world, I'm not going to debate the existance of bad runs on this thread, if you want to to that make another threat for it, I made this so we all become more profitable and solve a problem for us all, thank you.



My question (and I have part of the solution) is:

How do we get rid of the doomswitch ???

1)I like to cut my losses earlier, If I see I run really badly I like to just close the software and come back late.
2)I play lower stakes for a while just to get rid of it (you can notice from the hands you're getting and by the EV line too)

Send me the greater of 5 buy ins or $500.00 and I will switch it off for you.

Just don't win touch much right away because it can reset itself, kinda like a circuit breaker.

Only thing will be real regulation. We can't inspect the software or hardware of off shore poker sites so we don't know. Source code isn't enough.

What works for me during tough stretches is to uninstall/reinstall the client and/or change the table theme and cards. You can thank me later.

The first part removes all the notes and colors on players, the second part disables Holdem Manager on some sites.

Lower the stakes and keep grinding it out. (I also change table themes LOL)

Do you play poker on a computer or mac that you also have programs installed?

You could be getting super used because all the poker programs that I ran through an antivirus all were positive for trojans/malware ... WSOP.com is one of those that is a trojan so that whole regulation thing doesn't mean dick

I play poker on a PC that has GG installed on it and nothing else. I have PT4 on another PC that I never play poker on.
