How exactly do "mystery bounties" work? How exactly do "mystery bounties" work?

In a regular bounty tournament players receive a bounty chip worth $X.

How, exactly, is the amount of a "mystery bounty" revealed? Does a showgirl draw tickets from a drum every time someone busts out? Are the bounty chips numbered and a corresponding sealed envelope is waiting at the cage?

You get a raffle ticket when you knock someone out. You turn that raffle ticket in to get a random draw on a money prize.

Does "turn that raffle ticket in" require you to leave your seat and go to some window somewhere (in the middle of the tournament)? Or does a runner take your ticket somewhere and return with bounty amount? Or can you collect multiple bounties and turn them in later (after you're knocked out of tourney, possibly the next day) ?

I'm confused also....

Yes, you have to get up and go somewhere (probably close by) to do it. You can do it during the break or after you get knocked out. The timing of when you do your drawing doesn't affect the size of whatever you'll get; the biggest prize could be the first prize to go, the last, or somewhere in between.

You might be required to turn them in by the end of the tournament; you'll need to ask the specific casino to be sure.

Is there a strategy to when you should cash out your bounty? Assuming that there are 1 to 3 "jackpot" bounties and a bunch of min bounties.

Obv if we wait until the jackpot bounty gets chosen, that is bad for us, but as more non jackpot bounties get chosen, that increases our odds of getting it ourself. So we would want to wait as long as possible, but not too long.

It makes no difference whatsoever. Removing tickets doesn't change the expected value of the remaining tickets.

No. If you've ever heard about the concept of drawing straws, it doesn't matter when you pick; your chances are the same of drawing the short straw.

There is one exception that I actually don't know the answer to and that would be if there were bounties that let you draw again, like you win $500 but you also get another pick. I haven't seen the math on this situation but I'm going to assume that pick order still doesn't matter.
