I don't want to sit down and learn how to stack chips. LOL. I swear, my story is coming out from my life, man. And it's going to be like "12 YEARS OF MALPRACTICE LEADS TO POKER RICHES" LOL. But yea, how to learn how to stack chips? And my life is so bizarre, man. LOL

don't bother learning, you look like more of a huge fish if your chips are stacked all messy and random stacks

but when your forced to (tournaments) stacks of 20 in same denomination with big chips up front...its not hard

Put your same-denomination chips in stacks of 20 before starting additional stacks.

Just stack one chip at a time, you will eventually have a tower that reaches the ceiling. The floor should be able to provide you a ladder if your stack gets too tall.

Don’t. Just go in with no knowledge except that it’s frowned upon to hide your big chips so leave those in the front. After that it just gets more natural as you play. After 4-5 8 hour sessions stacking your chips will come naturally. I had no idea at all how to stack or get chips and within 6 months of playing I would already shuffle stacks of 20 chips while in hands out of habit and be able to feel if a chip was missing (ie it was really only a stack of 19 chips) without looking. So just enjoy the first few months of playing where you’re worried about stacking chips.

Just lose 'em immediately. Problem solved.

Seriously: just make sure the big denominations are in front so that everyone can see them (you will probably reminded by a player or the dealer if you don't do this). Everything else is optional. Though in an all-in situation you may be asked to provide a count...so stacking them sorted by value in stacks of 20 is what many find convenient.

Because I am clumsy, I have always done stacks of ten. I have never had anyone comment on that (my stacks, while shorter, are always well ordered)

Knowing how to stack chips fast or shuffle chips isn't a vital skill, it just looks cool. Most of the people who can do it still suck.

Being skilled with chip stacking and shuffling is negative ev.

just make sure they are arranged in a manner where others can eyeball the amount and guess a good range for how much you have

this means to keep stacks of the same denomination when dealing in large quantities and keeping the biggest denominations front and center so they are visible to all

don't bother practicing there's literally no benefit and some good benefit of giving off a reverse tell that you're a fish new to the game - fumbling with chips would ruin your quality of life if you faked it so take advantage of it while it's honest and real
