How to buyin online for a wsop tournament?

I really don't know where to post this but I am trying to buyin for a wsop tourney and have never done it before. I wanted to do it online to avoid the lines but I see a few different websites and didn't know if they were credible.
Are there big lines an hour before? Can I buy in online from a valid place? I've seen the machines online, but I assume there are lines as well? Any help would be appreciated.
