Hi guys,
I'm 20 years old and want to become the world no.1 before I'm 30. The money isn't really a motivator for me, I just love the game and really want to improve. At the moment I'm playing 5NL. I had a 30BB/100 over 10,000 hands but then I had 1 bad session and basically punted off 2/3 of my bankroll over the last few days. I'm taking a day off today to recompose myself. I've played home games for a year and learned mainly by watching YouTube but recently I read applications of no limit hold'em and Modern Poker theory. I tried Grinders Manual as well but quit halfway through based on most of the information being rather self explanatory. Basically at this point I don't really know what I should do to improve. I'm probably going to get a solver but I'm worried GTO will hinder my play at the micros. Of course I now understand the basics of exploitation from a GTO standpoint but I still end up making really bad calls at the table given how heavily people are undebluffing . Y bluff selection is also suboptimal. Of course stufying GTo will improve this but i feel like i need something a little more intuitive to complimwnt it. I've glanced at a bunch of online courses but most of them are either too expensive or seem very introductory. Anybody have any advice on how to improve my game. E.g is leakfinder on pokertracker a worthy investment or do I just need to spend more time analysing my hands? Also I don't really care for the super basic stuff or things which aren't backed up by GTO. Like I said I care about becoming a better player not making money and I would prefer my entire learning method not to be based on bad habits

What do you mean by world #1? If you mean capable of having the highest +ev at any table you will find that requires you play exploitative a vast majority of the time not GTO. If you mean doing well at tables where only GTO players are playing you will find the closer you are to a computer program the better you are; after all there is a reason RTA is not allowed, and against near equals variance is larger factor than difference in skill. Learn how to play as many styles as possible as well as possible and realize even a bad fish gets to decide what style beats them. If they never fold and you play GTO so their ev is invariant as to whether they fold or call you are playing badly as you aren't taking advantage of a very basic mistake.

I might switch to MTTs sometime but atm I want to become the emdboss of NLHE. I think a GTO approach is definitely best at least as a baseline. But don't really know what to focus on

I'm subscribing. I have no advice but i'm interested in what others will say. But if you want to be the best at anything, you have to grind at least ten hours day. Can you do that?

Ok guys so I'm now playing10NL with a decent winrate although i only have 2000 hands. Have some mental problems for sure mainly in terms of discipline. Going to really try to think about hands more especially hand histories and stuff. Just moved to the countryside for the summer so hopefully that will help me with my mental game. My daily plan is the following
8am: wake up, eat breakfast, go for a meditative walk, listen to music and think about hands from the previous day.
10am:Session no. 1
1am:lunch
1.30pm: Session no. 2
5pminner
6pm: Review Session.
7pm: Work with a solver on a specific spot ( starting BB vs BTN tomorrow)
9pm. Do some gand histories here or elsewhere. Watch poker videos.
11pm : chill
12pm: sleep and repeat.

This is similar to what I did as a chess player many years ago and it worked quite well for me. One thing I am unsure about is how to review my Session. Lime it is easy to look at the big pots I played but often hard to find what I did wrong in the smaller spots. Any advice on this or anything else in the schedule?

I could purchase software but I don't have excessive money to spend. Was thinking about purchasing GTOwizard but GTO base is quite good and free. I was using Hand2note also but will probably upgrade to pokertracker. Would appreciate if you could recommend ant other recources
